Private Groups
Family coming to town and you’re looking for something different and fun to do? You and your friends want to shake-up your usual weekend routine of dinner and drinks? Or maybe you want your kid to have the outdoor experience you did growing up: unplugged, knees covered in dirt, building stick forts… and why not join them for that?
We of Earth offers a variety of nature-based group experiences and celebrations for private groups and parties wanting to do something that’s unique, uplifting, and creates memories to last forever.
Tell Aunt Linda to bring her boots. Text your besties and tell them they’re about to get their hands muddy. Call your pals with kiddos and plan for a multi-generational playdate in the woods.
We all deserve a moment to step away from our “everyday,” our screens, and be in our bodies and have a meaningful outdoor experience that actually connects us with ourselves, our loved ones, and our community.
Group offerings can be tailored and adapted upon request with advance notice.

■ Spring–Fall | ■ 3.5–4 hrs | ■ 8–20 people, families, friend groups
The nature retreat for groups who didn't know they needed one. A structured half-day program (3–4 hours) that takes a group into the woods for a sequence of guided activities: an opening grounding walk, a team nature-craft challenge (ex: build the best shelter), a guided sit-spot practice, and a closing reflection circle.
-
■ Spring-Fall | ■ 2.5–3 hrs | ■ Corporate teams, organizations, families, friend groups
A gamified group foraging experience — part education, part friendly competition. Teams are given field guides and a challenge list of safe, identifiable wild plants and natural objects to locate within a set area. Points are awarded for correct identification, responsible harvesting, and creative use of finds. The day ends with a shared tasting of foraged ingredients. Designed to build communication, collaboration, and observation skills — and to be genuinely, laugh-out-loud fun.
-
■ Spring–Fall | ■ 3 hrs | ■ Staff teams, families, friend groups
A creative team workshop that uses nature as both setting and subject. Teams work in small groups to develop and share a short story, myth, or legend inspired by a natural object, creature, or place they discover on a guided walk. Drawing on Mikayla's theatre background, this program includes warm-up exercises, structured observation time, collaborative storytelling, and a closing performance circle. Develops creativity, communication, deep listening, and lateral thinking — all while making people laugh, gasp, and feel surprisingly moved.

■ Year-round | ■ 1.5-2 hrs | ■ Corporate teams, organizations, families, friend groups
A breath of fresh air, warm sun on your face… they were right when they said to go “touch grass.” Nature is the best medicine.
This group experience invites you to practice self-care and self-reflection, inspired by the seasons. Workshop includes a slow-paced nature walk with guided observation, a gentle yoga flow led by a certified instructor, mindfulness activities, journaling, and shared reflection.

■ Spring–Fall | ■ 3–4 hrs | ■ Milestone celebrations, birthday parties, bridal parties, friend groups
Not every birthday party needs a cake. Not every bachelorette party needs a nightclub. This is for the person who loves the outdoors, the group that wants something they'll actually remember, and the maid of honor who's tired of planning brunch. A private, customizable nature celebration: a guided walk, a nature-art activity, a seated outdoor ritual for the special someone, and a celebratory picnic with seasonal snacks.
