If you’re craving one last hurrah for the summer, I invite you to join me at our back-by-popular-demand event 2nd Grade Summer (previously called Summer Celebration).
This 2-hour gathering is for adults who want to experience summer like they did as children: outdoor recess-style games, a picnic with nostalgic childhood snacks, jump rope and hula hoops, looking for shells and sea glass on the beach, arts & crafts in the shade of a tree, and more! Engage with both your inner and outer environments, and walk away with a deeper connection to the season and to your community.
The cost of attending this event is FREE or Pay What You Can!**
Suggested $10.00 minimum donation to cover cost of materials.
**We believe in financial accessibility & mutual aid. If cost is a barrier, please reach out! No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Why join this gathering?
Connecting with the season and the Earth in a mindful, whimsical, playful way alongside other people strengthens community and the understanding that we are all a part of nature.
When we engage with nature in this way, we learn to see the Earth as a friend, and understand that the Earth doesn’t belong to us... we belong with the Earth.
If you want to deepen your connection to nature, rekindle your relationship with your inner child, play outside, make new friends, and more... this event is for you!
